So far, the Port of Baku has signed more than 20 Memorandums of Understanding with more than 20 ports of the world. The main purpose of the agreements below concluded with the partners is creation or promotion of harmonious relations, mutual understanding, development of relevant trade and business relations and cooperation, based on the principle of mutual benefit, in particular, in using the potential of partner ports for transportation of all types of cargo (dry cargo, liquid cargo, general cargo, container cargo), as well as Ro-Ro and passenger transportation.The Port of Baku benefits from the advantages of its global network and close partnerships with regional and international ports. Cooperation agreements signed with partners have strengthened economic and commercial relations, expanded cooperation in the field of joint research of the international market, and contributed to the stability and effectiveness of transport channels. Along with building successful bilateral relations, Port of Baku is an active member of a number of international organizations. At the IAPH 2018 World Ports Conference, which was successfully held in Baku, the importance of the port in the International Port Arena and its commitment to partnership and sustainability will contribute to the further development of the global economy was emphasized.
