Port of Baku awarded "Eco Ports" certificate once again

The Port Environment Analysis System (PERS)-” EcoPorts“certificate of the European seaports Organization (”European Sea Ports Organization “ - ESPO) was once again presented to” Baku International Sea Trade Port " CJSC (Port of Baku).

For the first time in the region, the preservation of this name by the Port of Baku, which acquired the status of “green port” two years ago, became possible as a result of the steps taken to protect the environment. We would especially like to emphasize that only 30 ports have been awarded this status in Europe at the moment. The fact that such a list contains the name of the Port of Baku, along with the leading ports of Europe, is the success of both our region and our country.

It should be noted that the protection and development of ecology is one of the main priorities for the Port of Baku, and cooperation in this direction is regularly carried out with both local and international organizations and experts.
